Riley Ziskey grew up on cattle stations in Outback Queensland, cutting his teeth playing local pubs, rodeos, race meets and balls. After a long stint working in the mines of Western Australia, he returned to music with a busking appearance at the 2025 Tamworth Country Music Festival, which led to a support slot on Tori Darke and Brad Butcher's tour.

Since then he has won the Matt Perrin Development Award at Country Stars, performed at the Gympie Muster Talent Search and the Ekka Country Music Showdown, and joined the 2025 Ridin' Hearts lineup. In 2026 he supported The Buckleys at Tamworth, opened for Lee Kernaghan in Longreach, played Lasso Country Music Festival and made the Top 27 of Australian Idol. His debut single, "Bore Water Soul", was produced by Jared Adlam.
