Josie's country music journey kicks off right from the heart of Townsville, North Queensland, but the journey took her much further travelling Australia’s outback as she practically grew up in the cab of her Dad's Western Star road train servicing the country. You can feel the connection to rural Australia in every note of her tunes, shaped by the vast landscapes she called home.

At just 21, Josie is already making waves with her debut single, 'Down Here,' and the emotional follow-up, 'Freight Man.' She teamed up with the ARIA and Golden Guitar award-winning producers, Michael Paynter and Michael Delorenzis of MSquared, giving her tracks that extra something special.

Back in 2018, at the CMAA Junior Academy in Tamworth, Josie's musical journey took a turn. Collaborating with Travis Collins, her life on the road turned into the authentic and raw 'Freight Man.' Released in September, after a TikTok campaign that got over 2 million views, the song hit not just trucking audiences worldwide but also perfectly captured the vibe of Josie's upbringing.

Josie has shared stages with big names like Brad Cox, Travis Collins, James Johnston, Troy Cassar-Daley, and The McClymonts. Fresh out with a Bachelor of Music Performance, specialising in songwriting, Josie's journey is only just getting started.
