Brad Cox has built his career on songs that feel lived-in, honest and unmistakably his own. One of Australia’s most compelling contemporary songwriters and live performers, Cox has developed a deeply engaged audience through years of relentless touring, connecting with fans through storytelling that moves between humour, vulnerability, everyday life and the harder edges of growing up.

Across four studio albums, Cox’s songwriting has continued to evolve. His latest album, Endemic Intelligence in Multiple Dimensions, marked his most ambitious and personal body of work yet, pushing beyond traditional country boundaries into heartland rock and broader singer-songwriter territory while keeping storytelling firmly at its centre. The album debuted at #1 on the ARIA Country Albums Chart, while previous album Acres was named the Top Selling Australian Country Album of 2024.

That connection is perhaps strongest on stage. Cox has become known for a powerful, high-energy live show, balanced by an ability to strip everything back and hold a room with just a guitar and a story. His Acres touring cycle sold more than 30,000 tickets around Australia, and his ongoing headline touring has taken him from regional rooms to major theatres including Melbourne’s Forum and Sydney’s Enmore Theatre.

A three-time Golden Guitar winner and multiple ARIA Award nominee, Cox has established himself as an artist whose success has been built from the ground up through songs, touring and a loyal audience that continues to grow with him. His catalogue also reflects a long-standing focus on songwriting, with much of his early work written solely by Cox.

More than anything, Brad Cox is a songwriter and performer — an artist who can command a full room with a band behind him, then create just as much impact alone with an acoustic guitar. His music continues to evolve, but the foundation remains the same: honest songs, a formidable live show and a genuine connection with the people listening.
